Quality - Loyalty- Value

In 1948, Arthur John Webb opened a small fresh produce retail outlet near the centre of Rotherham. As part of his daily working routine he would visit the Castlefolds Wholesale Market in Sheffield to stock the shop with the freshest produce available. This, coupled with value for money, justifiably gave him a reputation as a leading retail figure within the immediate community. As the post war years' influence subsided on the local economy, the business gained strength by each passing year and with the introduction to the business of his son, Tony, a large delivery sector emerged supplying schools, homes and canteens for the thriving steel and coal industries.

2020 Brought us the Corona Virus (COVID 19) crisis, while most of the country stood still AJW continued to expand its operations and invested in more trucks and vans to meet the surge in demand for fresh produce, our team of dedicated employees never missed a day of work during this crisis ensuring Hospitals, Care Homes, Market Traders and other retailers had their daily deliveries as normal. Today we are now one of the Largest independent Fresh produce suppliers in the north of England while still maintaining the ethos of a family run business where no order is too big or too small.
